Braves sweep soccer twin bill from Pioneers

Logan Elm senior Riley Schultz was a literal scoring machine on Saturday, achieving the rare double hat trick in a 6-1 non-league win over visiting Zane Trace.

Sydney Spires assisted on three of Schultz’s six goals.

Liv Adams had a solid afternoon in the net, recording eight saves.

On the boys side, Owen Hartranft, Landon Long, and Caleb Eplin each scored a goal for the Braves. Hartranft also added a pair of assists and Long assisted on the other goal.

Keeper Braden Sabine recorded six saves for the Braves (2-1), who host Pickaway County rival Westfall for another twin bill on Monday night.
