The Unioto (13-5, 11-2) loss, combined with a 66-45 win by Adena over Paint Valley, allowed Adena (19-2, 13-1) to claim the outright SVC championship.
Trevor Wolfe had a huge game and led all scorers with 17 points. Ashton Nunemaker was a perfect 10 of 10 at the free throw line en route to 12 points. Tyler Shipley contributed eight points, Casey Cline had seven and Luke Blackburn added six.

Still without three of its starters due to COVID-19 quarantine, the young Tigers continued to battle and learn as they went on Friday in a 67-31 MSL-Buckeye loss to host Bloom-Carroll.
Bloom-Carroll led 18-11 after a quarter of play and 34-18 at halftime.
Winston Jones and Preston Hulse contributed nine points apiece and Max Brooks added four for the Tigers.
Evan Dozer poured in a game-high 20 points for the Bulldogs (13-6, 10-3).
The Tigers (3-15, 2-9) host Amanda-Clearcreek this afternoon for a league matinee.

New Hope rallied from a 23-19 deficit entering the fourth quarter on Friday to record a 33-30 non-league win over host Columbus Academy.
Maren McCallister led the charge with seven of the Statesmens’ 14 fourth-quarter points. Rebecca Highfield nailed a three-pointer, and Eden Leist and Lauren Smith added two points apiece.
McCallister finished with 11 points, Smith had six and Jenna Tripp added five for New Hope (7-6).
