New Hope Christian posts win over Whitehall

A strong start to the second half allowed host New Hope Christian to claim a 53-42 non-league win on Thursday over Whitehall.
The Stateswomen entered the second half with a 28-23 lead and proceeded to outscore the Rams 17-9 in the third quarter to go ahead 45-32.
Maren McCallister led New Hope with seven points during the run, Jenna Tripp hit a pair of three-pointers and Kayla Winner chipped in four points.
McCallister posted a game-high 23 points, Tripp had 15, and Eden Leist and Winner added six apiece.
Brooklyn Greer tallied 16 points to pace the Rams.

Zane Trace 33

Marissa Mullins posted an impressive double-double of 18 points and 17 rebounds to help Westfall earn its first Scioto Valley Conference win of the season on Thursday with a 44-33 verdict over host Zane Trace.
Gabby Patete followed with 11 points and six rebounds and Paige Weiss added eight points.
The Mustangs (2-4, 1-2) continue conference play on Tuesday when they host Unioto.
