Circleville finished second over the weekend at the Granville Steve Stahl Memorial Invitational.
The host Blue Aces topped the 11-school field with 192 points, followed by the Tigers (159), Big Walnut (152) and Westerville Central (134).
Noah Jones and Trentt Fulgham each finished first in Pool A, Jacob Johnson and Ayden Reedy were both second and Carson VanGundy and Lane Adams finished third.
Aiden Blue, Jack Sorrell, Andrew Siembida and Mark Brunner all finished first in Pool B and Tristin Scarberry was first in Pool C.
“The boys had a pretty good weekend, outscoring a handful of Division I Central District schools en route to the final dual with Granville, which was a very competitive matchup,” Circleville coach Trent Brooks said. “It was so much fun watching the boys come together for that final dual!
“The excitement was everywhere, from our athletes, to our staff and to our fans. It was just a great environment for our boys and a great outcome for this team. We (the staff) are extremely proud of them.”
The Tigers travel to the Union Local Invitational this weekend.
