Second Annual Brad Morris Holiday Classic set for Monday and Tuesday

The Second Annual Brad Morris Holiday Classic is taking place Monday and Tuesday.

Teays Valley hosts Monday’s contests with Circleville the site for Tuesday’s games. Action starts at 3 p.m. each day.

Boys and girls varsity teams from all four of Pickaway County’s public high schools are taking part in the event named in honor of Sporting Pumpkin co-founder Brad Morris.

Morris, a 2002 Logan Elm grad, spent more than two decades highlighting the achievements of the area’s high school athletes – first with the Circleville Herald and then with the Sporting Pumpkin — before passing in the fall of 2023.

Logan Elm and Westfall start off the event Monday with Circleville and Teays Valley to follow.

Logan Elm and Teays Valley will have the early games Tuesday with Circleville and Westfall facing off after.

One ticket gets fans admission to all four games. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. League, school and other passes will not be accepted for admission.
