MSL, SVC honors announced

With the regular season wrapping up, the Mid-State League and Scioto Valley Conference have announced their all-league teams. 

Eight area players earned first team honors for their work on the hardwood this season.

Logan Elm’s Braylen Baker and Tanner Holbert and Teays Valley’s Cameron Dyas-Rogers earned spots on the Mid-State League Buckeye Division first team.

On the girls’ side of the MSL-Buckeye, Amanda-Clearcreek’s Emily Buckley, Circleville’s Gabby McConnell and Teays Valley’s Jenna Horsley and Kennedy Younkin worked their way to spots on the first team. 

Westfall’s Casey Cline grabbed one of the spots on the first team for the SVC. 

Bloom-Carroll took top honors in the MSL Buckeye with Evan Dozer and Emily Bratton winning Player of the Year honors in the boys’ and girls’ divisions. 

Unioto’s DeSean Branson was the SVC Player of the Year on the boys’ side while Huntington’s Allison Bayse took the top spot on the girls’ side.
