Amanda-Clearcreek traveled to Circleville Tuesday evening with the Tigers winning the match in straight sets — 25-13, 25-13, 25-5.
The teams traded points in the first set until an Addison Edgington kill ignited the Tigers. Two kills by Drew Hoskins, a block by Gabby McConnell and two aces by Edgington later and the Tigers were ahead 21-12 and went onto win set 1 25-13.
The second set was dominated at the net early by the Tigers’ two freshman — Edgington and Ally Thornsley — and the Tigers cruised to a 25-13 victory.
Amanda jumped out to a 2-0 lead in set 3 on a kill by Ebby Hutchinson and a Tiger net violation. It was 10-3 Circleville when Thornsley went back to serve and 19-4 Tigers when she stopped. Claire Davis served out the night and the Tigers took set 3 25-5 to sweep the Aces.

The Tigers were led by Edgington with 15 kills and seven blocks, McConnell with 16 assists and five kills, Hoskins with 11 kills and Thornsley with 18 assists, four kills and three aces.
The Aces were led by Emma Kern with seven kills and Katie Kemmerling with 11 digs.Â
The Tigers return to their home court Thursday night when they host Logan Elm. There will be a donation jar collecting money to remember Brad Morris with all money going to the Sporting Pumpkin and helping make Brad’s plan of a Pickaway County Volleyball Player of the Year Award happen.Â

Logan Elm takes Rangers in three
Logan Elm played host to Hamilton Township Tuesday night and beat the rangers in straight sets 25-12, 25-20, 25-21.
Despite only playing three sets, Claire King had a career-high 30 kills and she also added five blocks.
Hannah Rhoads recorded 39 assists in the match.
Lynsay Vanhoose led the team with 18 digs while Sadie Binkley had 15.
The Braves travel to Circleville Thursday.Â
Westfall rallies in fifth set, defeats Huntington
Down 8-0 and then 14-9, Westfall rallied to win the decisive fifth set 16-14 to defeat Huntington Tuesday in Scioto Valley Conference action.
Set scores: 27-25, 16-25, 22-25, 25-19, 16-14.
