JOHNSTOWN — After waiting all off-season to get in some official hoops action, Amanda-Clearcreek decided to play a couple extra minutes as the Aces won their opener 43-39 in overtime at Johnstown.
Taylor Evans had a pair of free throws in OT as part of her game-high 16 points and Grace Davis sunk a three as part of her 12 as AC outscored the Johnnies 5-1 in the extra period.
Evans also had all eight of the Aces’ points in the fourth quarter.
Johnstown had three in double figures but only four scored with Abigail Adkins and Kylie Sharp each had 12 and Lauren Baughman 10.
The Aces will be back in action Friday for their first league action when they play at Hamilton Township.
