ASHVILLE — A slow start to each half put Westfall in a tough spot as the Mustangs fell 45-26 to Watkins Memorial at the Jeff Sheets Holiday Classic hosted by Teays Valley High School.
Managing only four points in the first and a basket in the third, the Mustangs were outscored 23-6 in those two quarters.
Aubrey Clark and Adrian Moehl each had seven points to lead the Mustangs (2-7) and Reese Baughman had six.
The Warriors (3-4) were led by Ella Perry with 11 and Rilyn Warner and Zoey Thompson each had seven.
Westfall will take on Bishop Ready Thursday at Circleville as part of the Holiday Classic.
