New Hope had a big first quarter, but Adena picked up its defense on the way to beating the Statesmen 67-49.
Lane Bruning had 11, Nathaniel Ames eight and Tyler Cook seven as the Statesmen got out to a 26-18 lead after the first quarter.
The Warriors turned things round in the second as they held New Hope to only six points while taking a 34-32 lead at the half.
Adena’s lead grew to 49-42 by the end of the third.
Joedy Ater had nine of his 16 for the Warriors in the fourth and Cayden Lee had six of his 13 as Adena outscored New Hope 18-7 in the final quarter.
Lucas King had 14 and Easton Henness had 11 for Adena.
Bruning led New Hope with 19 while Cook had 12 and Ames had 11.
New Hope falls to 6-2 on the season while Adena improves to 4-3.
The Statesmen host Northmor next Saturday.
