AMANDA — Bloom-Carroll put a damper on Amanda-Clearcreek’s senior night as the Bulldogs left with a 51-45 win.
BC (15-4, 9-2) got out to a 14-9 lead in the first quarter.
AC’s defense clamped down in the second and held the Bulldogs scoreless for the first five minutes closing to 14-13 before Tesssa Brooks finally scored for BC. Brooks put in a layup at the buzzer to give BC a 19-16 lead at the half.
An 18-11 third gave the visitors a 37-27 lead.
Brooks led BC with 19 points and Emily Bratton had 18.
Taylor Evans led the Aces (15-5, 9-4) with 17 points and Kaylie Wilson had 11.
AC plays its final league game Tuesday against Teays Valley and wraps up the regular season next Saturday with Fisher Catholic.
