The postseason began over the weekend for area swimmers.
Logan Elm’s Lindsay Bright leads the list of area athletes moving on to district competition as the junior won the Division II Southeast District sectional title in the 200-meter freestyle and was second in the 500-meter freestyle.
Bright is one of a number of swimmers from Logan Elm and Teays Valley who advanced to the district meet at Ohio University Friday and Saturday.
Division II boys compete Friday morning and the Division II girls go in the afternoon. The Division I boys swim Saturday morning with the girls in the afternoon.
