The paths to the volleyball and soccer state championships were laid out Sunday.
While much of the state used the traditional method of seeding volleyball teams by vote of the district’s coaches, the Southeast District used a rating performance index (RPI) score, which calculates a score based on a team’s record and the record of its opponents.
Soccer seedings were done by vote of the coaches. (Division I and II boys seedings – which includes Teays Valley – have been delayed until later in the week.)
