Gales run past Vikings in weather-shortened game

Lancaster scored twice in the first quarter and didn’t look back on Friday in a 24-0 non-league win over host Teays Valley.
The game was called with 9:58 remaining due to inclement weather.
Lancaster’s running game was dominant, churning out 320 yards on 47 carries.
Teays Valley was held to just 104 yards of total offense, 87 of those yards coming via the ground game.
The Gales scored on touchdown runs of 62 and 70 yards by Nasir Robinson to take a 14-0 lead.
Lancaster (3-6) stretched its lead to 17-0 in the second quarter on a 36-yard field goal by Isaac Palinni.
The Gales capped scoring early in the fourth quarter on a one-yard touchdown run courtesy of Parker Hill.
Robinson finished the game with 221 yards on 18 carries and a pair of touchdowns for the Gales. Hill consumed 118 yards on 24 totes and scored once.
Austin Blackburn had 53 yards on just two carries for the Vikings (3-5), and Camden McDanel had 13 yards on four carries.
