New Hope went 14 of 16 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter on Monday to secure a 62-53 non-league win over host Chillicothe.
The Statesmen led at each stop – 14-9, 30-25 and 46-41.
Maren McCallister powered the 16-point fourth quarter for New Hope with 10 points and Lauren Smith chipped in the other six markers.
McCallister finished the night 13 of 14 from the charity stripe and led all scorers with 28 points. Smith tallied 13 points, Jenna Tripp had eight, and Eden Leist and Rebecca Highfield added five apiece.
Weather permitting, the Statesmen (6-6) are back in action today at Columbus Academy.
