Circleville took the lead over the middle quarters of play on Wednesday to earn a 51-47 non-league win over visiting Adena.
The Tigers entered the second quarter trailing 14-13, but would take a 25-22 lead into halftime.
Craig Fleck had a big second period for the Tigers with eight points and Parker Kidwell added four.
Circleville used a 14-9 third quarter to increase its lead to 39-31.
Four different players scored during the frame, led by Fleck with six more points and Ian Warden tossing in four.
Fleck went on to post a game-high 21 points and pulled down six rebounds, Kidwell tallied 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds and Warden had eight points.
Davis Kerns had 18 points to pace the Warriors.
The Tigers (2-0) open Mid-State League Buckeye Division play on Saturday at Bloom-Carroll.
