A-C girls blast Horizon Science

Amanda-Clearcreek scorched the nets for 37 first-half points on Tuesday en route to a 55-14 non-league win over visiting Horizon Science.
Hailey Sowers scored eight points and Emily Buckley added four to help the Aces to a 19-2 lead.
Megan Tooill led the way in the second with eight points, including a pair of threes, and Sowers chipped in four to send the Aces into halftime with a 37-9 advantage.
Sowers tallied a game-high 14 points, Tooill had 13, and Rachel Weaver and Abby Carver added five apiece.
The Aces (12-5) host Logan Elm today for a league game.
