Amanda-Clearcreek graduate and Tiffin sophomore Jesse Connell earned defensive player of the game honors on Saturday at the America’s Crossroads Bowl held in South Shore, Indiana.
Connell was hard to miss for the Dragons, as he made six tackles, including 2.5 for loss, and forced a pair of fumbles.
Truman (9-2) edged Tiffin (6-5) 28-27 in the game.
