ASHVILLE – Teays Valley welcomed Bishop Watterson Wednesday night with the Vikings getting the best of the Eagles 49-21.
Eleven of the 14 weight classes were contested with the Vikings getting the best of their guests in six of them and taking wins in the other three by forfeit.
“They had some guys out and we did also,” TV coach Todd Nace said. “But it was still a great day with two great programs going at it.”
Gunner Havens (113 pounds), Josh Zimmer (120) Kennedy (157) and Austin Blackburn (165) each won their matches with pins.
Owen Robinett won a major decision at 150 pounds and Gavin Karshner won a decision at 215.
