Scott Moats tossed a two-hitter on Thursday to help Circleville past visiting Berne Union 10-0 in a non-league game.
The Circleville senior walked two and struck out four batters in the 78-pitch outing over six innings.
Circleville dented the plate in the third inning.
Drew Thornsley doubled to left, advanced to third on a sacrifice from Matt Bradley and scored on a single to right off the bat of Moats.
The Tigers went back to work in the fourth.
Logan Smith reached on an infield single, advanced to second on a passed ball, moved to third on a single to right from Austin Gray and scored on a single to right courtesy of Tate Debord.
After a strikeout, JD Reuter squeezed in Gray for the second run of the game.
DeBord and Reuter came around to score on an error to put the Tigers ahead 5-0.
Circleville scored twice in the fifth and three times in the sixth to complete the run-rule win.
Gray was a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored, DeBord went 3-for-4 with four RBI and a run scored and Logan Smith was 2-for-4 and scored twice to pace the Tigers (3-3), who continue non-league play on Friday at Zane Trace.

Amanda-Clearcreek earned a 5-0 Mid-State League Buckeye Division win on Thursday over visiting Liberty Union.
Peyton Beavers went 2-for-2 and scored twice, Leland Riley hit a home run, drove in two and scored and Bodie Martin singled and scored.
Pete Brockman allowed four hits, walked two and struck out eight over five innings to claim the win for the Aces (2-3, 1-1), who continue league play on Monday at Circleville.

Huntington scored in each of its final four at-bats on Thursday to defeating visiting Logan Elm 7-2 in a non-league game.
The Braves had jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first, but the Huntsmen tied the game in the third and took a 4-1 lead in the fourth.
Kyle Rine, Blayton Reid, Zane Seimer and Zack Parks each singled. Rine scored both runs for the Braves and Mason Gentry had an RBI.
Logan Elm (1-7) resumes Mid-State League Buckeye Division play on Monday at Liberty Union.

Amanda-Clearcreek 2
Liberty Union took advantage of six errors by host Amanda-Clearcreek to score six unearned runs on Thursday in a 6-2 MSL-Buckeye win.
The Aces scored a run in each of their first two at-bats, but the Lions used a three-run third to take a 5-2 lead.
Megan Tooill went 2-for-4 with two RBI, Faith Jewell was 2-for-4 and scored and Haley Robinson added a single and scored for the Aces (3-2, 0-2), who travel to Johnstown on Saturday for a non-league doubleheader.
