Bigger and even better.
That’s what girls basketball fans will be treated to on Thursday, as Teays Valley hosts its second annual Rumble in the Valley.
Action with 34 varsity teams will be spread out between the high school gymnasiums and the fieldhouse.
All eight Mid-State League Buckeye Division teams will be competing, along with Westfall and Unioto of the Scioto Valley Conference. Traditional powers such as Reynoldsburg, Fort Loramie, Sheridan and Worthington Christian will also be on hand, along with rising power Harvest Prep.
Teays Valley will also be hosting a JV shootout with an additional 19 teams in attendance. Those games will be spread out over the auxiliary gymnasium, fieldhouse, former middle school gymnasium (the high school’s south campus) and East Middle School, which is just up the road from the high school.
