Braves looking to lean on experience

Key returnees: Senior Tia Fowler (honorable mention all-league), junior Maggie Wilson (honorable mention all-district), senior Kaitlyn Otterbacher (first-team all-league and all-district), senior Siennah Bryant (second-team all-district and honorable mention all-league) and senior Jenna Allison (honorable mention all-district)

Season outlook: Coach Richard Ash is looking for the Braves to show improvement this season by continuing to solidify their defense behind the play of seniors Tia Fowler and Katelyn Otterbacher and junior Maggie Wilson.

Logan Elm will also seek to control the ball more, led by senior Siennah Bryant, and look for another solid campaign scoring wise via senior Jenna Allison, who paced the team in goals scored a year ago.

Overall, the Braves are returning 10 of their 11 starters and have nine seniors on the roster, also including Sophie Ash, Katie Wilson, Brooklyn Hill, Samantha Mayhugh and Lilly Jarvis.

“We are going to rely on our experience to improve our record and compete in a very tough Mid-State League,” Ash said.
