The Westfall boys golf team finished in third place out of 11 teams on Saturday at the Unioto Military Invitational played at the VA Memorial Golf Course.
Chillicothe won the 18-hole event with a score of 304, Unioto finished second with a score of 311, and Westfall finished third with a score of 326.
Freshman Brendan Biegler led the way with a 76, and fellow freshman Ian Camden carded an 80, both playing in their first varsity match. Juniors Jacob Hicks and Isaac Stevens shot 83 and 87 respectively to round out the scoring. Sophomore Dalton Bush finished with a 92, and Senior Jasiah Story shot a 98.
The Mustangs travel to Chillicothe Country Club on Thursday for a non-conference dual against the Cavaliers.
