Westfall is slated to recognize the 40th anniversary of the 1983 Scioto Valley Conference championship football team on Friday, September 1 when the Mustangs host the Circleville Tigers.
All former players, coaches and cheerleaders from the team are invited to attend the game. A roster will be left at the pass gate for each team member, plus one guest, to be admitted free and then they will directed to a check-in table inside the gate.
The 1983 Mustangs will be recognized at halftime as the first team in program history to go undefeated in the SVC. Westfall shutout five of its seven conference opponents and allowed just eight points.
