Tigers can’t get started against Muskies

Circleville struggled for any consistency on offense in a 28-0 non-league loss on Friday against visiting John Glenn.

The Tigers amassed just 82 yards on a beautiful fall-like evening.

Quarterback Hudson Phalin was 8 of 16 passing for 47 yards and Austin Gray completed 1 of 2 passes for five yards. Jack Kline caught three of those passes for 35 yards.

Junior running back Jude Blair was held to 30 yards on 16 carries.

John Glenn amassed 317 yards of total offense, with 194 coming via its ground game.

The Tigers (0-1) host Vinton County (0-1) next week, a 21-20 victim of the Unioto Shermans last night, to continue non-league play.
