Watkins Memorial Athletic Director Jacob Perkins is encouraging fans to use a shuttle service on Friday for transportation to the football stadium for the Teays Valley at Watkins Memorial football game.
Ongoing construction of a new elementary school on the north side of the district’s campus has made parking extremely limited around the football stadium. Handicap and a very limited number of regular spaces will be available around Watkins Memorial Middle School (formerly the old high school), which is adjacent to the football stadium.
Fans are being encouraged to arrive early, enter the campus from U.S. Route 40 and park at the new Watkins Memorial High School, where shuttle service will then be provided to the football stadium. The shuttle service will remain available during the game and continue after the final whistle.
