Tigers’ Seimetz, Falcons’ Chilcote co-medalists in five-team match

CIRCLEVILLE — Fairfield Union came out on top in a five-team match at Pickaway Golf Course. 

The Falcons posted a 160 to best Logan Elm (164), Circleville (169), Zane Trace (192) and Amanda-Clearcreek 193. 

FU’s Dylan Chilcote shared medalist honors with Circleville’s Reid Seimetz as they each turned in a 39 Monday. 

Grant Cline and Will Higginbotham led Logan Elm as they each shot 40, Graham Williams, Parker Caldwell and Mason Grentry each turned in a 42 Judson Pollock shot a 48

Micheal Fernandez and Brady Reuter each had a 42 for the Tigers, Ashton Groff had a 46, Liam McConnell shot 47 and Andrew Siembida shot 52. 

Daniel Hughes led ZT with a 44.

Caiden Riddle and Peter Brockman led the Aces with rounds of 45, Ashden Vanscoy had a 51, Breece Stone had 52, AJ Moyer shot 56 and William Francis had a 66. 

Shermans on top in SVC warmup

CHILLICOTHE — In a warmup for Wednesday’s sixth Scioto Valley Conference golf matchup, Unioto posted a 169 to get the better of Westfall (188) and Huntington (227) at the Jaycees Golf Course. 

Unioto’s Charlie Lewis and Keegan Snyder shared medalist honors as they each posted a 40. 

Brendan Biegler and Dalton Bush led the Mustangs with 46. Jacob Hicks shot a 47, Isaac Stevens shot 49, Colton Brungarth had a score of 50 and Ian Camden 53.

Tucker Taylor led Huntington with a 44. 

These three teams will join the rest of the league at the Jaycees course Wednesday’s league match.

• In a tri-match of SVC girls teams at Big Beaver Golf Course, Piketon posted a 205 and Zane Trace had a 247. 

Southeastern did not have enough players for a team score. 

Zane Trace’s Mary Helber was medalist with a 43.
