Logan Elm and Miami Trace battled for five sets Monday night before the Braves were able to clinch the victory — 25-23, 18-25, 25-17, 22-25, 15-10.
Claire King led the Braves with 18 kills while Addison Smith had 11 and Adelyn Smith had eight. Lynsay Vanhoose had four aces on 19-19 serving, Kiannah Ingram had two aces on 20-20 serving, King had two aces on 17-17 serving and Addison Smith had a pair of aces.
Vanhoose recorded 24 digs and Sadie Binkley and Hannah Rhoads each had 10.
Rhoads had 38 assists in the match.
Addyson Butts was Miami Trace’s top hitter with 29 kills and freshman Kylie Yeazel had 47 assists.
The Braves (13-5) host Circleville (15-4) tonight.
