CARROLL — Bloom-Carroll struck quick Friday night and never let Teays Valley recover on the way to a 42-7 win.
On the game’s first play, Dylan Armentrout went 55 yards and Beau Sherman carried the ball on the second play for a seven-yard BC score.
After forcing a three-and-out, QB Ethan Thanthanavong broke a 46-yard run which led to Armentrout scoring from three yards out.
Even when the Bulldogs lost a fumble deep in their territory in the first quarter, the BC defense stepped up and forced the Vikings to give the ball back on downs.
The Bulldogs added 21 points in the second quarter on touchdown passes from Thanthanavong to Michael Stevenson and Jayse Rockwood and on another TD run by Armentrout to lead 35-0 at the half.
BC added its final points when Brodyn Bishop intercepted a pass and returned it for a score late in the third.
Teays Valley got on the board in the final quarter when Kole Nungester connected with Griffin Gray for an 11-yard score.
BC outgained the Vikings 372-117 with 262 coming on the ground. Armentrout had 106 of those yards and Sherman had 93.
Spike Woods led the Vikings with 35 yards on 10 carries. Harrison Payne had five catches for 42 yards and Gray had two catches for 42 yards.

The Vikings (4-4, 3-2) return home to host Logan Elm (7-1, 4-1). LE was a 35-14 winner over Amanda-Clearcreek Friday. The Bulldogs are on the road to Hamilton Township with the MSL Buckeye Division title on the line. BC sits at 7-1 overall and the Rangers are unbeaten this season. HT will be looking to hand BC its first league loss since 2019.
