


WILLIAMSPORT — Westfall had a huge first half to get a homecoming win over visiting Adena Friday night.
The Mustangs scored three times in the first quarter and were up 49-0 by halftime.
Adena avoided the shutout with 10 points in the third quarter and the Mustangs added one more score before the clock timed out.
Despite only completing 12 passes in the game, the Mustangs threw for a whopping 415 yards.

Bryce Wickline connected on 11 of his 21 pass attempts for 368 yards and six touchdowns and AJ Paudicz was 1-1 for 47 yards.
Trent Walters led the way catching seven passes for 196 yards and three touchdowns.
Joey Wright had three catches that covered 135 yards and he scored twice.
Quinn Eberly had one catch for 47 yards and Cade Hall had one for 37 with a touchdown.
Wickline added 48 yards on the ground as the Mustangs ran for 77 in the game. He had a rushing touchdown to go with his six through the air. Paudicz had a rushing TD for the Mustangs, as well.

Tanner Scheel had a strong night defensively with 11 tackles.
Adena picked up 278 yards of offense but lost three turnovers.
Westfall kicker Carson Deskins tied his own school record converting eight PAT kicks.
The Mustangs (4-4, 2-3) travel to Huntington (1-7, 1-4) next week. Adena (1-7, 1-4) is at Piketon (5-3, 2-3).
