Post-season brackets were completed Sunday in volleyball and soccer. The tournament gets under way this coming weekend and kicks into full gear next week.
Volleyball
In the Central District, Teays Valley earned the No. 28 seed and will travel to Logan Monday to take on the No. 20 Chieftains at 6 p.m. The winner takes on Tri-Valley on Wednesday.
In Division III, Amanda-Clearcreek earned the No. 18 seed and will travel to take on the winner of the No. 6 Marion Pleasant versus No. 13 Columbus Academy. The Aces will be in action on Oct. 21 at 2:30 p.m.
In the Southeast District, Sheridan earned the No. 1 seed in the volleyball tournament with Unioto No. 2 in Division II.
Circleville earned the No. 3 seed and will host the winner of the No. 14 McClain and No. 19 River Valley matchup at 7 p.m. on Monday, the 16th.
Logan Elm earned the No. 8 seed and will host No. 9 Miami Trace at 7 p.m. on the 16th.
In Division III, Westfall earned the No. 8 seed. The Mustangs will host the winner of No. 17 Northwest and Eastern Brown at 7 p.m. on Oct. 19.
Soccer
Boys
In Division I, Teays Valley was named the No. 30 seed in the Central District.
The Vikings will be in action at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, taking on the winner of No. 16 Canal Winchester versus No. 31 Groveport Madison. (The game will be played at the better seed’s school.)
Amanda-Clearcreek was named the No. 16 seed in the Division II tournament and will begin play at No. 13 Centennial next Monday at 7.
Marietta earned the No. 1 seed in the Southeast District Division II boys’ soccer tournament.
Marietta will take on a local team in either Logan Elm or Westfall.
The No. 16 seed Mustangs will host the No. 17 Braves at 6 p.m. on Monday with the winner traveling to Marietta on Wednesday, the 18th.
Circleville earned the No. 13 seed and will host Sheridan at 6 p.m. Monday with the winner facing Unioto.
Girls
In the Central District Division I girls tournament, Teays Valley picked up the No. 25 seed and will host No. 29 Thomas Worthington at 7 p.m. next Wednesday, the 18th.
Amanda-Clearcreek got the No. 12 seed and travels to No. 9 Liberty Union Monday for a 7 p.m. first kick.
Fairfield Union earned the No. 1 seed in the Division II bracket.
Circleville grabbed the No. 4 seed and will host No. 13 Waverly at 6 p.m. on Thursday, the 19th.
Logan Elm earned the No. 14 seed and travels to No. 3 Jackson on the 19th.
In Division III, Westfall was named the No. 10 seed and will travel to take on No. 7 Eastern Brown at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18.
