Braves fall on the road to Falcons

LANCASTER — Fairfield Union got out to the early lead on the way to grabbing a 38-29 league win over visiting Logan Elm Friday night. 

The Falcons (4-8, 2-4) got out to a 13-5 lead after the first quarter and led 22-12 at the half as they picked up their third straight win. 

Kiannah Ingram led the Braves with 13 points while Kennedy Groff had eight and Kimmy Petty five. 

Elly Lewis led the Falcons with 15 points and Taylor Smeck and Maycee Martindill had nine each.

The Braves (6-5, 2-4) return home to take on Teays Valley Tuesday.
