Circleville’s girls’ basketball team has ridden their undefeated record to a spot in the Associated Press’ state poll.
The Tigers (11-0) are ranked No. 5 for Division II in the state poll with 40 points.
Purcell-Marian (13-1) received nine of the 10 first-place votes to earn the No. 1 spot in the poll with 98 points. Akron’s Saint Vincent-St. Mary’s (10-0) is No. 2, Fairland (9-0) received the other top vote and is ranked No. 3 with Sheridan (9-0) No. 4.
Unioto is ranked No. 9.
Pickerington Central holds the top spot in Division I, Casstown Miami East is No. 1 in Division III and Fort Loramie is No. 1 in Division IV.
