SB — Logan Elm 10, Amanda-Cearcreek 3

AMANDA — Logan Elm avenged a loss earlier in the season by getting out front early and posting a 10-3 win over host Amanda-Clearcreek. 

Tia Fowler went 3-4 at the plate and drove in three runs for the Braves. 

Lucy Caplinger, Peyton Richendollar and Addison Smith each scored twice for LE. 

The Braves scored four times in the second and added a run in the fourth, three in the fifth and two more in the seventh.

Hailey Sowers had two hits for the Aces, including a double.

The Aces scored twice in the sixth and once in the seventh.

Sadie Binkley started for the Braves and went 5.1 innings. She gave up two runs on three hits with two walks and nine strikeouts.

Richendollar pitched the final 1.2 innings allowing a run on two hits with two walks and two strikeouts. 

Casadee Steinmetz started for AC and pitched four innings. She gave up five runs on five hits with two walks and a strikeout. Makenna Singleton pitched three innings in relief. She gave up five runs on five hits with three walks. 

SB — Circleville 13, Hamilton Township 1 (5 innings)

CIRCLEVILLE — A big third inning propelled Circleville to a 13-1 win over visiting Hamilton Township Friday.

With a 2-1 lead after the first, Circleville’s bats came alive in the third. 

The Tigers had 11 hits — with four doubles, a triple and two-run home run from Ella Michael — to score 10 times in the inning.

Claire Davis went 3-3 and scored three times for the Tigers. Audrey Cowdery, Kaylee West, Gabby McConnell and Kayla Fleck each had two hits.

Fleck started and pitched three innings for the Tigers. She gave up one run on one hit with three strikeouts. 

McConnell pitched the final two innings giving up two hits and striking out three. 

SB — Westfall 7, Southeastern 0

CHILLICOTHE — Adrian Hicks threw a five-hit shutout Friday afternoon and had three hits to help her Westfall Mustangs to a 7-0 win at Southeastern. 

Hicks walked only two while striking out 11.

The Mustangs got the runs they needed to win in the fourth. After a leadoff walk from Ellie Heath and a single from Delana Landefeld, Sydney Fuller hit a sacrifice to center. Heath tagged up and scored and a bad throw led to Landefeld coming in to score as well. 

Westfall added a run in the fifth, three in the sixth and one more in the seventh. 

BB — Amanda-Clearcreek 4, Logan Elm 3

AMANDA — Tanner Affolter used his speed to lift Amanda-Clearcreek to a 4-3 win over visiting Logan Elm Friday. 

The Aces had scored three times in the first inning but a run from LE in the fourth and two in the top of the fifth tied the game. 

In the bottom of the fifth, Affolter drew a walk. He stole second and then stole third. An error on the play allowed him to come home with what turned out to be the winning run. 

Blayne Barker started for the Aces and went three innings, giving up a run on two hits with five walks and a strikeout. Gary Kemmerling pitched 2.1 innings in relief and got the win. He gave up two runs on two hits with three walks and two strikeouts. Cole Schif pitched the final 1.2 innings with a walk and a strikeout. 

Dylan Neff started for the Braves pitched five innings, taking the loss. He gave up four runs on six hits with four walks. Zane Seimer pitched an inning in relief, giving up one hit. 

BB — Teays Valley 4, Fairfield Union 3

ASHVILLE — Teays Valley scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to grab a 4-3 win over visiting Fairfield Union. 

Trailing 3-2 entering their last at-bat, the Vikings got a runner on thanks to a one-out error. A fielder’s choice left a runner at first with two outs. 

Peyton McElfresh singled to right, and Jonathon Watkins was able to advance to third on the hit. 

Westin Woodrum then hit a line drive to center to bring in Watkins and tie the game. With McElfresh at second, Trevor Hamilton singled to center and McElfresh came around with the winning run. 

Brody Mann started for the Vikings and went five innings. He gave up three unearned runs on four hits with a walk and nine strikeouts. 

Luke Reese got the win pitching two scoreless innings. He gave up a hit and struck out one. 

BB — Circleville 11, Hamilton Township 7

CIRCLEVILLE — Circleville held off some late scoring from Hamilton Township to post an 11-7 win over the Rangers. 

The Tigers scored three times in the first, added four in the second and a run in the third to get in front 8-0. 

HT broke through with three runs in the fourth but the Tigers answered with two in the bottom half of the inning.

Glavine Bigam had a two-run double in the first and drove in two more in the second. 

Trent Smith went 3-4 at the plate. Austin Gray, Kole Nungester and Kiser Cassidy each had two hits for the Tigers. 

Kaiden Bigley started and earned the win as he pitched 5.1 innings allowing six runs on eight hits with two walks and three strikeouts. 

Brody Brisker pitched 1.2 innings in relief. He gave up a run on two hits with a walk and two strikeouts. 

BB — Southeastern 9, Westfall 1

CHILLICOTHE — Southeastern got an early lead and held Westfall in check to pick up a 9-1 win Friday. 

The Panthers scored twice in the first, four times the third and one in the fourth. Two more Panthers crossed the plate in the six, as well.

Westfall had the bases loaded in the third with one out, but a couple of strikeouts ended the threat. 

The Mustangs scored in the sixth when Caleb Lowe doubled and scored two batters later when Trent Walters doubled. 

Walters had two hits for the Mustangs, Caleb Lowe had two hits and Noah Stonerock tripled.

Stonerock started for Westfall and pitched 3.2 innings. He allowed seven runs (six earned) on five hits with three walks and six strikeouts. 

Lowe pitched 2.1 innings in relief. He gave up two earned runs on five hits with a walk.
