Local athletes to continue careers in college

With high school graduations behind local students, many are now preparing to continue their education in the fall. 

A number of area graduates will be continuing their athletic careers as well when they head off to school at the end of the summer. 

Amanda-Clearcreek’s Cameron Corey recently committed to continue his soccer career with Wittenberg University in Springfield.

Also heading to Wittenberg is AC’s Drew Dossman, who will be part of the Tigers’ football team. 

Circleville runner Emma Groff is headed to Wilmore, Ky, to join the cross country team at Asbury University.

Circleville’s Gabby McConnell and Ella Michael will be teammates in college. 

The Tigers’ softballers have recently committed to take their talents down U.S. 23 to Shawnee State in Portsmouth.
