Braves on top at Court House; Tigers dominant against Miami Trace

Logan Elm 46, Washington CH 36

WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE — Logan Elm doubled up its opponent in the middle quarters on the way to a 46-36 win over Washington Wednesday. 

After falling behind 11-8 after the first quarter, Logan Elm outscored the Blue Lions 26-13 in the second and third to go ahead 34-24.

Kiki Ingram hit five threes on the way to a game-high 27 points for the Braves. Kimmy Petty added 12. 

The Braves (10-9) return home Friday for Senior Night and will be welcoming their biddy teams. Liberty Union will be in for the MSL matchup.

Circleville 49, Miami Trace 16

WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE — Circleville held host Miami Trace scoreless in the second quarter on the way to a 49-16 non-league win Wednesday night. 

The scoreless second quarter helped the Tigers to a 29-4 halftime lead. 

Three minutes had elapsed in the third before the Panthers ended their drought. 

Maddie Blakeman led the Tigers with 23 points and Eddison Edgington added 12. 

The Tigers (16-2) are home Friday taking on undefeated Fairfield Union.
