Perfect season helps Thompson to POY honors in MSL Buckeye

Three-sport standout Christian Thompson has been named Player of the Year by the Mid-State League Buckeye Division girls basketball coaches.

A first-team selection in volleyball and defending league champion in the high jump, Thompson led her team to a 22-0 regular season and a berth in the Division IV regionals this week.  She has signed to compete in track and field at Ohio State following graduation. 

Fairfield Union’s Keith Barr is the recipient of the Coach’s Award for guiding the Falcons to a perfect 12-0 league record.
