Tigers ground Rockets in four sets

Circleville picked up its third win in eight days on Saturday with a 25-15, 25-20, 22-25 and 25-14 non-league verdict over visiting Berne Union.

Kenzie McConnell had a monster match with 34 kills, and five solo blocks to go with 19 digs to lead the Tigers. Morgan Blackman contributed 15 kills; Jayla Parsons dished out 35 assists to go with four kills, three aces and six digs; Gabby McConnell had four kills, 15 assists, served a pair of aces and had eight digs; Cara Cooper scooped up 18 digs and Chandler Hayes added seven. Cooper also served two aces.

The Tigers (3-0) open Mid-State League Buckeye Division play on Tuesday at Hamilton Township.
