It was an historic afternoon on Saturday for the Teays Valley swimming program at Columbus Academy High School.
The Vikings won their first Mid-State League Buckeye Division girls championship in program history, scoring 277 points. Bloom-Carroll finished second with 238.

On the boys side, the Vikings won their third consecutive league championship with 323 points. Logan Elm finished second with 239.
Eleven events were contested to determine the league championship, with the Vikings taking first in nine of them and second in the other two.
