Defending champion Westfall opened Scioto Valley Conference play on Thursday by recording a comfortable win by 20 strokes during a nine-hole match at Dogwood Hills.
The Mustangs topped the four-school field with 189, followed by Piketon (209), Adena (230) and Zane Trace (247).
Westfall junior Paige Weiss was conference medalist with a scorecard of 40. Adena’s Sydney Ater followed two strokes behind with 42 to earn runner-up honors.

Caroline Sever followed Weiss with 48, Marianna Packer shot 49 and Alexa Oney fired a 52. Also playing for the Mustangs was Michelle Pickett (57).
The second conference match of the season is on Monday at Valley Vista.
