Westfall doubled its advantage atop the Scioto Valley Conference on Monday by winning the second match of the season at Valley Vista Golf Course.
The Mustangs turned in a nine-hole scorecard of 186, followed by Piketon (197), Unioto (224) and Zane Trace (230).

Paige Weiss repeated as conference medalist with 37, beating out runner-up Sydney Ater from Adena by three strokes. Marianna Packer shot 47, Alexa Oney had 50 and Kathryn Lockhart fired a 52. Also playing for the scarlet-and-gray were Caroline Sever (56) and Michelle Pickett (61).
“Finishing the match in and of itself was a victory walking the hilly terrain of Valley Vista in tonight’s heat,” Westfall coach Jonathan Barker said. “Overall, the second match finished much like our first match last week with our team winning and Paige Weiss claiming medalist honors again and maintaining her nine-hole average of 37 so far this season.”
“Another bright spot for us was sophomore Kathryn Lockhart shooting a personal 52 from the sixth spot to post for the team score which was 186.”
Through two conference matches of seven, the defending champion Mustangs have a perfect 16 points and Piketon sits in second with 14.
The Mustangs host the third conference match of the season on Wednesday at Crown Hill.
Tigers win tri-match
Circleville easily coasted past a pair of Ohio Capital Conference foes on Monday to win a tri-match at Champions Golf Club.
The Tigers finished with a nine-hole tally of 188, followed by Worthington Kilbourne (214) and Pickerington Central (237).
Elaina Seeley paced the Tigers with a 38, Isabelle Perini shot 47, Izzy Seeley turned in a 48 and Lis Sharp shot 55. Also playing for the red-and-black was Aleigh Michael (73).
The Tigers host a quad match on Wednesday at the Pickaway Country Club.
