Mustangs on top on both sides of Adam Carter Memorial

WILLIAMSPORT — Westfall’s runners won both sides of Wednesday’s Adam Carter Memorial hosted by the Mustangs. 

The boys had a team score of 25 with Zane Trace scoring 66, Miami Trace 67 and Paint Valley 68. 

The girls put up a score of 30 while Miami Trace had 46 and Zane Trace 52. 

(Adena did not have enough runners for a team score in either race and PV did not have enough in the girls race.)

Caitlyn Shipley was the winner of Wednesday’s Adam Carter Memorial.

Adena’s Ryan Richendollar won the boys race in a time of 17:18 with MT’s Eli Fliehman second in 17:49 and Westfall’s Josh Trapp third in 17:58.

The Mustangs’ Henry Barnes was fifth in 18:16, Trent Gardner was sixth in 18:29, Mason Barnes was seventh in 18:35 and Brody Williams rounded out the scoring placing 10th in 19:01.

The Mustangs went 1-2 in the girls race. 

Caitlyn Shipley came in with a time of 20:47 and Anay Sierra finished in 21:08. Gabbry Henry placed seventh for the Mustangs in 24:18, Natalie Yates was 11th in 26:14 and Itzel Sierra-Arteaga rounded out the scoring in 12th with a time of 26:23.

Westfall’s Andy Sierra took second Wednesday at the Adam Carter Memorial.
