BALTIMORE – Kennedy Younkin had 19 of her game-high 27 in the second half to help lead Teays Valley to a 58-43 win at Liberty Union Tuesday night.
Fighting off some illness, the senior scored 10 in the third period in what was still a close game as the Vikings ended the period up 37-33. She added nine more in the fourth while Tessa Horsley had six of her 10 and Abby Tier had six of her nine in the quarter as well.
Gabrielle Watkins added seven points in the game for the Vikings.
Ella Brown led the Lions with 11 points and Morgan Love had 10.

AMANDA – A 15-point third quarter gave Amanda-Clearcreek enough of an edge to defeat visiting Watkins Memorial 34-32 Tuesday night.
Six players scored in the period for the Aces (3-0) as they flipped a three-point halftime deficit into a five-point lead.
Grace Davis helped her team hold on for the win scoring all seven of the Aces’ points in the fourth quarter as part of a 10-point night.
Hailey Sowers added eight for the Aces.
The Warriors were led by Riley Warner with nine.
