Tigers stay at No. 5 in latest state poll

Remaining unbeaten, Circleville’s girls remain at the No. 5 spot in this week’s Associated Press Girls Basketball poll. 

The Tigers (13-0) are one of three Southeast District teams making the Division II top 10 along with No. 4 Sheridan (13-0) and No. 7 Unioto (13-2). 

Purcell-Marian holds on to the top spot receiving 11 of the 12 first-place votes. St. Vincent/St. Mary from Akron is No. 2 and received the other first place vote. 

Olentangy (14-0) took over the top spot in Division I from Pickerington Central (12-2). 

Miami East (12-0) holds on to the top spot in Division III with Archbishop Alter (12-1) No. 2. 

Berlin Hiland (12-0) moved up to the No. 1 spot in Division IV with Fort Loramie slipping to No. 2.
