SB — Circleville 3, Logan Elm 1
CIRCLEVILLE — Hits were hard to come by, but Circleville made the most of theirs in getting a 3-1 win over Logan Elm Tuesday.
With two outs in the bottom of the first, Circleville’s Ella Michael was hit by a pitch and then a single from Kaylee West brought her in. Gabby McConnell then doubled to left and an error on the play allowed Michael to score for an early 2-0 Tigers’ lead.
The Tigers added another run in the third.
Makaylee Holbrook reached on a one-out single and then an error on a bunt attempt by Michael put two runners on. West bunted into a fielder’s choice, reaching first base safely, which brought Michael in to score.
The Braves were held off the scoreboard until the seventh inning.
With two outs, Lynsay Vanhoose singled and Sadie Binkley followed with an RBI double.
McConnell went the distance for Circleville (6-4, 5-1). She struck out eight.
Binkley struck out 14 as she went the distance for Logan Elm (8-2, 3-2).

SB — Teays Valley 6, Bloom-Carroll 0
ASHVILLE — Morgan Cantrell drove in three runs and Avery Mann drove in two as Teays Valley beat Bloom-Carroll 6-0 Tuesday.
Cantrell had a solo home run in the fifth inning and drove in two with a single in the sixth.
Mann hit a two-run single in the fifth.
Alyvia Lawrentz got the win for the Vikings as she pitched all seven innings. Along with pitching a shutout, she didn’t issue any walks while allowing four hits and striking out eight.
Teays Valley (8-2, 4-1) had nine hits in the game.
SB — Huntington 12, Westfall 10
WILLIAMSPORT — Westfall collected 16 hits and scored 10 times, but it still wasn’t enough to top visiting Huntington as the Huntsmen left with a 12-10 SVC win.
Sydney Fuller went 3-5 at the plate for the Mustangs and drove in five runs. Gabby Henry, Adrina Hicks and Joni Snyder also collected three hits in the game.
Baker led Huntington as she had three hits, including a two-run home run in the fifth and three-run shot in the seventh.
Hicks pitched for the Mustangs (3-6, 3-2). She gave up 12 runs on 13 hits while walking five and striking out seven.
Both teams played error-free ball.
BB — Bloom-Carroll 6, Teays Valley 3
ASHVILLE — Bloom-Carroll put runs across in each of the first three innings on the way to a 6-4 win at Teays Valley Tuesday.
The Vikings were behind 4-0 when they finally got on to the scoreboard in the fourth. A couple of two-out singles from Tyler Blankenship and Landen Hankinson set up a two-run double from Westin Woodrum.
TV added a third run on an RBI single from Jeremiah Fabbro in the fifth.
Brody Mann started for the Vikings and went five innings. He gave up four runs on four hits with three walks and four strikeouts.
Nico Trapasso pitched the final two innings in relief allowing two runs on one hit with two walks.
BB — Huntington 13, Westfall 9 (5 innings)
WILLIAMSPORT — Westfall collected 16 hits but had some costly errors in falling 13-9 to Huntington Tuesday.
Westfall had a 6-3 lead after two innings, but Huntington scored five times in the third and five times in the fourth.
Cory Green started for the Mustangs and pitched 2.1 innings. He gave up eight runs (five earned) on four hits with four walks and a strikeout.
Michael Harwood pitched an inning in relief giving up four unearned runs with a hit and three walks.
Trent Walters pitched the final 1.2 innings giving up an unearned run on one hit with a walk and two strikeouts.
Brenden Tuttle, Jaden Towler and Noah Stonerock each had three hits for the Mustangs (3-6, 1-4), including a triple for Stonerock.
Walters, Brady Mullins and Trent Garnder each had two hits for Westfall.
BB — Waverly 6, Circleville 4
CIRCLEVILLE — Waverly got out in front early and made it hold up in beating host Circleville 6-4 Tuesday.
Ty Foster had a tough start on the mound for the Tigers. He faced seven batters in the first, with the final one hitting a three-run double to put Waverly up 4-0. David Northam came on in relief and got the final out of the inning.
Three Waverly hits in the second put the visitors up 6-0.
An RBI single from Thornsley in the third got CHS on the board and Austin Gray had a two-run double in the fifth. Thornsley drove in Circleville’s final run on a fielder’s choice in the sixth.
Foster pitched two-thirds of an inning giving up four runs on two hits with three walks and a strikeout. Northam pitched 3.1 innings in relief. He allowed two runs on four hits with a walk and he struck out four. Zach Bell came on and pitched three innings of scoreless baseball while striking out four.
