BB — Teays Valley 4, Logan Elm 0
LANCASTER — Teays Valley came through late to get a 4-0 win against Logan Elm at Beavers Field Thursday.
Scoreless through five innings, TV’s Westin Woodrum hit a two-out double to center to drive in Tyler Blankenship with the game’s first run. A single from Trevor Hamilton set up a two-run single from Jeremiah Fabbro for a 3-0 TV lead.
Brody Weiler had an RBI single in the seventh to finish out the game’s scoring.
Tyler Matthews got the win for TV as he pitched five innings of scoreless baseball. He gave up two hits and walked one.
Weiler got the save as he pitched two innings of scoreless ball. He gave up one hit and struck out two.
Grant Cline took the loss for the Braves as he went six innings giving up four runs (three earned) while allowing nine hits and striking out six.
Kelton Bennington came on two batters into the seventh and pitched the final inning, giving up one hit.
SB — Logan Elm 7, Teays Valley 1
CIRCLEVILLE — A big fourth inning gave Logan Elm the edge it needed to beat visiting Teays Valley 7-1 Thursday.
With the game tied 1-1, Logan Elm opened the bottom of the fourth with three consecutive singles.
A ground out to second by Addison Smith brought in Ryleigh Wolfe to break the tie.
A single to right off the bat of Tia Fowler brought in Lucy Caplinger for a 3-1 LE lead.
A bunt from Lynsay Vanhoose paid off when an error on the play at the plate allowed Peyton Richendollar to score and Kimberly Petty (running for Fowler) was able to score as well for a 5-1 edge. Vanhoose got all the way to third on the error and came in to score when Sadie Binkley sacrificed and reached on an error.

Fowler had an RI double in the fifth to finish out the game’s scoring.
Richendollar went 3-3 for the Braves while Fowler and Caplinger each had two hits. LE had 10 hits in the game.
Binkley went all seven innings in the circle to get the win for LE. She gave up one unearned run on five hits with two walks and three strikeouts.
Abbi Revalee and Avery Mann each had two hits for TV.
Avery Stratton started for the Vikings and pitched 3.1 innings. She allowed six runs (five earned) on six hits, one walk and struck out four.
Isabel Sayre went 2.2 innings in relief. She gave up an earned run on four hits.

SB — Circleville 4, Waverly 0
CIRCLEVILLE — Circleville benefited from strong pitching to send Waverly home on the short end of a 4-0 score Thursday.
Kayla Fleck went the first five innings in the circle. She yielded two hits with two walks and a strikeout to get the win.
Gabby McConnell pitched two innings of hit-free ball in relief and struck out four.
Circleville put its first run on the board in the second when Maddie Blakeman hit a sacrifice fly to center, allowing McConnell to tag up and score from third.
In the fifth, Ally Thornsley reach on an error, Claire Davis singled and Audrey Crowdery reached on a fielder’s choice to load the bases. Ella Michael was hit by a pitch to force in Thornsley. Davis then scored on a wild pitch to put CHS up 3-0.
Circleville put its final run across in the sixth when Davis doubled to score Tori Bennett.
BB — Circleville 8, Liberty Union 0
CIRCLEVILLE — Circleville finished up its weather-delayed game with Liberty Union and claimed an 8-0 win Thursday.
The game was halted Wednesday with Circleville up 5-0 and batting in the bottom of the fourth. The Tigers completed the inning Thursday by adding two more runs on an RBI double from Brody Brisker and Glavine Bigam drawing a bases-loaded walk to make it 7-0.
Lane Adams had a sacrifice fly in the sixth to drive on the Tigers’ final run.
The Tigers had a strong start Wednesday as they scored four times in the first inning – with the last two runs coming with two outs.
A two-out error in the third inning gave Circleville its fifth run.
Kaiden Bigley got the win on the mound as he pitched four innings of scoreless ball. He allowed two hits, walked one and struck out three.
Brisker pitched three innings in relief. He gave up one hit, walked two and struck out four.
SB — Piketon 6, Westfall 5
WILLIAMSPORT — Piketon scored three times in the seventh inning to get the best of host Westfall 6-5 Thursday.
A two-run single and a passed ball brought in three runs for the Red Streaks to go up 6-5 in the seventh.
Two singles and a fielder’s choice gave the Mustangs two runners in scoring position in the seventh, but Westfall wasn’t able to get the tying run across.
Sydney Fuller helped the Mustangs to an early led when she had an RBI single in the first and then, after Piketon scored twice in the third, she had a two-run home run in the bottom half of the inning for a 3-2 Westfall lead.
After Piketon tied the game in the top of the fourth, Delana Landefeld stole home in the bottom half of the inning to put the Mustangs up one.
Joni Snyder doubled in Madalyn Staley in the sixth for a 5-3 Westfall lead.
Adrina Hicks pitched for Westfall. She gave up six runs (five earned) on nine hits, walked five and struck out two.
BB — Piketon 7, Westfall 1
WILLIAMSPORT — Westfall was limited to three hits Thursday in falling 7-1 to visiting Piketon Thursday.
Two of the Mustangs’ hits came in the first when Brenden Tuttle opened the inning with a single and then scored on a one out single by Noah Stonerock. That run tied the game 1-1.
Stonerock had Westfall’s other hit in the fourth.
Piketon added a run in the second, two in the third, one in the sixth and two in the seventh to grab the SVC win.
Michael Harwood started for the Mustangs and went 4.1 innings. He gave up four runs (three earned) on five hits with two walks and struck out four.
Caleb Lowe pitched two innings, allowing two runs (one earned) and striking out one. Trent Walter pitched the last two thirds of an inning, giving up one earned run with a walk and strikeout.
