SB — Logan Elm 16, Waverly 0 (5 innings)
SB — Logan Elm 13, Gallia Academy 8

GALLIPOLIS — Logan Elm won a pair of games Saturday in matchups at Gallia Academy High School.

LE opened the day against Waverly and sent 25 batters to the plate in the first two innings to score 16 runs in beating the Tigers 16-0 in five innings. 

The Braves had nine hits in the game and drew five walks. Sadie Binkley and Brittani Lane each had two hits. 

Peyton Richendollar pitched four scoreless innings. She gave up four hits and struck out five. Jaycie Clifton pitched two innings in relief, striking out three. 

In the second game, the Braves were 13-8 winners over Gallia Academy. 

Logan Elm played error-free softball and had 11 hits. 

The Braves got out on top early with two runs in the first, four in the second and another in the third. They capped their scoring with a six-run fifth inning. 

Lynsay Vanhoose had a two-run home run for the Braves to go with a double. Binkley had two hits, including a double, and Richendollar had a triple.

Ryleigh Wolfe pitched the first six innings allowing eight runs on 12 hits with a walk and eight strikeouts. 

Richendollar pitched the seventh allowing a hit and striking out one. 

BB — Amanda-Clearcreek 8, Columbus Academy 4

GAHANNA — Amanda-Clearcreek scored in six of the seven innings Saturday to beat Columbus Academy 8-4.

AC scored a run in the second, third, fourth and fifth innings and put two across in the sixth and seventh. 

The Aces collected seven hits and drew 10 walks in the game.

Peyton Beavers had two hits, including a double. Brady Holbrook had a two-run triple. Cole Schiff and Leland Riley each had a double. 

Blayne Barker started for the Aces and went 5.2 innings. He gave up four runs (three earned) on six hits with six walks and he struck out four. 

Riley pitched two thirds of an inning walking two. 

Cole Schif pitched the seventh. He gave up one hit and struck out three. 

BB — Blooom-Carroll 13, Logan Elm 2

CIRCLEVILLE — Bloom-Carroll collected 15 hits in grabbing a 13-2 MSL win over host Logan Elm Saturday. 

A couple of Logan Elm errors in the top of the second helped Bloom-Carroll score four unearned runs for the early lead. BC added two more in the top of the third for a 6-0 lead. 

A two-run double from Keegan Diehl in the bottom of the third accounted for Logan Elm’s only runs of the game. 

The Bulldogs scored two more in the fifth, three in the sixth and two in the seventh. 

Carson Summers started and went 4.1 innings. He gave up eight runs (four earned) on 11 hits with three walks and struck out five. 

Kelton Bennington pitched 2.2 innings in relief. He gave up five runs (three earned) on four hits with a walk and struck out one. 

SB — Morgan 10, Amanda-Clearcreek 0 (6 innings)

AMANDA — Two Morgan pitchers combined on a no-hitter in a 10-0 win over host Amanda-Clearcreek Saturday. 

The Aces were limited to five base runners in the game on two walks, a hit batter, a dropped third strike and an error. 

Makenna Singleton started for the Aces and pitched four innings. She gave up eight runs (five earned) on eight hits with three walks and she struck out two. 

Abby King pitched two innings in relief. She gave up two runs, walked two and struck out one.
