SB — Circleville 16, Amanda-Clearcreek 6 (5 innings)
CIRCLEVILLE — Circleville scored in all four of its at-bats in beating visiting Amanda-Clearcreek 16-6 in five innings.
Circleville had six hits in the bottom of the first to score five times – including a triple by Ella Michael and a double by Maddie Blakeman – for a 5-1 lead.
After the Aces scored twice in the second, five more hits in the bottom of the inning helped Circleville to a 10-3 lead.
Kaylee West had a two-run home run as part of a four-run third inning to put Circleville up 14-3.

A walk and two hit batters loaded the bases for the Aces in the fourth, but it looked like Circleville would get itself out of the trouble with a double play.
But that double play was followed by an error that allowed two runs to score. After another error kept the inning alive, Casadee Steinmetz singled to drive in a run and make the score 14-6.
The Tigers (8-5, 6-2) answered in the bottom of the fourth with a one-out double by Claire Davis. After a second out was recorded, Michael was hit by a pitch. West singled to right which allowed Davis and Michael score to make it 16-6.
The Tigers’ defense then recorded a 1-2-3 inning in the top of the fifth to finish out the game.
West pitched the first three innings for the Tiger. She allowed three runs on seven hits and struck out two. She also went 4-4 at the plate, driving in seven runs.
Gabby McConnell pitched two innings in relief. She allowed three unearned runs on a hit with a walk and a strikeout.
Steinmetz started for the Aces and went five batters into the third. She allowed 14 runs on 15 hits with a walk and two strkeouts.
Makenna Singleton pitched two innings in relief. She allowed two runs on two hits and struck out two.
Averie Hutchison had two doubles for the Aces (4-8, 3-6) and Hailey Sowers had a double with two RBI.
SB — Westfall 6, Paint Valley 3
WILLIAMSPORT — Westfall went yard twice in sending Paint Valley home on the short end of a 6-3 score.
With two outs in the second, Adrina Hicks hit a shot over the fence in center to bring in Madalyn Staley and herself for a 2-1 Westfall lead.
With two outs in the third, Logan McNeal tripled to drive in a run for Westfall.
Jill Butcher then stepped to the plate and hit one over the fence in center to make it 5-1 in favor of the Mustangs (5-7, 5-3).
A sacrifice fly from Gabby Henry in the bottom of the sixth brought in the sixth Westfall run.
Hicks pitched all seven innings for Westfall. She gave up three runs (two earned) on seven hits with a walk and she struck out nine.
SB — Logan Elm 15, Hamilton Township 5
OBETZ — Logan Elm exploded in the seventh inning to leave Hamilton Township with a 15-5 win Monday.
The Braves (13-2, 6-1) had 20 hits in the contest with nine coming in a 10-run seventh inning.
Amongst the seventh-inning production was a three-run triple by Tia Fowler that made it 12-2 in favor of the Braves.
After an RBI double from Lynsay Vanhoose, Sadie Binkley hit her second home run of the afternoon – a two-run shot to center. (Binkley also had a two-run home run in the fifth.)
Binkley accounted for five of LE’s hits and had five RBI.
Vanhoose had three hits, as did Ryleigh Wolfe.
Binkley pitched three innings of scoreless and hit-free softball and struck out eight.
Peyton Richendollar pitched three innings in relief. She allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits with a walk and five striekouts.
Wolfe pitched the seventh allowing three unearned runs on two hits with a walk and a strikeout.
SB — Teays Valley 3, Liberty Union 1
ASHVILLE — Teays Valley had a three-run third to beat Liberty Union 3-1 Monday.
Isabel Sayre opened the third for Teays Valley (9-3, 5-2) with a single and made it to second. A sac bunt from Harper Grimes got her to third. Alyvia Lawrentz then hit into a fielder’s choice, which allowed Sayre to score.
After a second out, Morgan Cantrell doubled to right to bring in Lawrentz and then – after Cantrell stole third — Aimee DeWeese hit an RBI single for TV’s third run of the inning.
Lawrentz held the Lions (11-5, 6-3) to a single run on four hits while striking out eight.
