Bock has big night in LE win; Vikings win at Reynoldsburg; Mustangs fall to Bearcats

Logan Elm 41, Fairfield Union 20

CIRCLEVILLE — Michael Bock had more than 300 yards of offense and scored four touchdowns as Logan Elm dispatched visiting Fairfield Union 41-20 Friday. 

Bock had 231 yards on the ground and a catch for 77 more on the night. 

Bock had a five-yard TD run in the first quarter while, in the second quarter, Justin Marcum scored from nine yards out, Gavin Hoover scored on an 11-yard pass from Aaron Walters and Bock scored on a 77-yard pass as the Braves led 28-0 at the half. 

The Falcons cracked the scoreboard in the third, but Bock answered with a 37-yard TD run. 

Bock added a 19-yard score in the fourth quarter. 

Walters was 15-18 passing for 211 yards. 

Marcum had five catches for 55 yards. 

Logan Elm (4-1, 2-0) hosts Liberty Union (2-3, 1-1) Friday. 

Teays Valley 17, Reynoldsburg 7

REYNOLDSBURG — Teays Valley kept Reynoldsburg in check to grab a 17-7 win Friday night. 

Taking advantage of a Reynoldsburg fumble, Brady Farmer connected with Peter Graham to give the Vikings the lead. 

Later in the first quarter, it was Farmer connecting with Markus Mealy for a 14-0 score which stood at halftime. 

Reynoldsburg got on the board in the third with a touchdown pass, but the Vikings brought the quarter to an end with a 44-yard field goal from Max Spencer to push the score to 17-7.

The Vikings (4-1, 2-0) are home Friday with Groveport-Madison (4-1, 2-0). 

Paint Valley 58, Westfall 28

WILLIAMSPORT — Paint Valley continued its high-octane start to the SVC season with a 58-28 win at Westfall Friday.

After scoring 62 points against Southeastern last week, the Bearcats (5-0, 2-0) scored the first 20 points of the game this week.

The Mustangs got on the scoreboard with a pick-six in the second quarter but the half ended with PV up 28-6.

Westfall (1-4, 0-2) travels to Southeastern (1-4, 0-2) Friday.
