WOOSTER — Logan Elm’s duo of Ally Berger and Kaylee Ross had their tennis season come to a conclusion today at the state tennis championships.
The duo earned a spot in the Division II championships after winning the Southeast District tournament last week.
Berger, a senior, and Ross, a junior, had a first-round matchup with Lily Guiler and Adele Tokmazeysky from Orange High School. The duo from northeast Ohio won the matchup 6-0, 6-0.
The ladies from Orange saw their tournament last only one more round as they went up against Caroline Brown and Cassie Larsen from Indian Hill High School and fell 6-0, 6-1.
The state tournament is being held at the College of Wooster in conjunction with the Division I championships and concludes Friday.
